USB RF Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer for PC/Laptop - Black (10-Meter Range)

Pros: The device appears to be an excellent alternative to the more expensive store bought counterparts. Is slightly smaller than I envisaged. Works with Open Office as expected. Internally stored receiver means that loss is unlikely. Receiver is small when compared to other cheap alternatives.

Cons: None currently.

Other: -the price of this in BR is R$= 120,00 (US+/- =55,00)

Pros: - It's light and small. - The receiver can be stored inside the remote control. - It's building quality seems OK. - No need to install any software - it's plug & play. - It needs only one AAA battery, what keeps it almost weightless.

Cons: - It is definitely NOT a Targus device. The brand name isn't written on the device, nor on the package, nor in the user guide. It's fake, to be more precise. - The "dark screen" button doesn't seem to work on mine.

Other: For the price, it's OK. A similar one would cost BRL 100.00 (USD 60.00) in my country. Let's see for how long it keeps working.

Cons: Finishing at the joints are not as well done Instructions for syncing the device is not clear

Other: I don't know about the real Targus product, but mine comes with all the Targus logos on the device itself and the packaging. Value for money considering the prices of such presenters from their real manufacturers. It does not have a trackball, unless DX means the Next Slide and Previous Slide functions on the device corresponds to the trackball up and down.

Pros: Very light because of one AAA-battery.
Receiver stored into the device.
Laser reaches 30 mtrs and more.

Cons: 'Screen black'-button doesn't work, both PP2003 an PP2010 give a 'wrong sound' when the button is pushed.
No trackball (having one was the reason to buy this one).

Other: The Logitec is better quality and all functions work, but this one is a nice replacement for a nice price.

Pros: Great range up to 10 meters around 15 meters. It is very compact perfect to put in the t-shirt pocket. Use just one battery, and the battery life is around 6 mouths. Works fine windows xp, vista and win 7. No software ou program required, just plug and play. Perfect to improve your presentations.

Cons: There aren't trackball, no mouse function. The battery isn't include. There is not a carring case

Other: Dx could sell other type of targus presenter. They should remove trackball from the advertisement.

Pros: It just works! Connects quickly to the pc with a small usb wireless bluetooth connector. The driver installs quickly and worked with all PCs I tried (maybe 5, I guess...).

Cons: The build quality is not awesome. The back part (where the battery goes in) is kinda weak... It looks like it can break if it falls to the ground.
The laser is good, but doesn't work if pointed to LCD or LED TV's (because they have a strong light) or to sunny places (that's not a really bad issue... you're buying a red laser after all).
Anothe con is that it may be thorned down as you use it. It has a thin skin that comes off as you grab it with your hands.

Other: Awesome. I use it all the time.

Pros: It is very useful and practical and its size is just best fit in your palm. Your presentation audience will not realize that you have used this device. It does not require any software, plug and play function and it is compatible to PC and Mac. The receiver is stored into the device and you do not have to worry to lose it. Great device.

Cons: Build quality is kind of weak, especially the receiver is prone to break.

Other: Affordable price for great device. Great presenter should have this device.

Pros: It is based on RF and not on IR - this is a great advantage since you don't need to point toward the receiver. The laser is strong and the battery lasts for long time. The receiver (which is very small!) has a compartment in the remote - so it is very difficult to lose it :) Works perfectly in WinXP, Vista and Windows 7.

Cons: NONE!

Other: I bought this twice already and I would buy this item again. The low price and the good range of reception make this a very good deal.
