USB to Micro USB Adapter

Pros: I received this from Dealextreme as an experiment. I wanted to see could I cut out using a small cable that I was using at the end of a 5m USB cable, to convert USB to Micro USB, before entering a small 3G data device.
The unit is very well constructed and the Micro USB end of the adaptor has a very crisp and satisfying grip on whatever item you are plugging it into.
My set up.

Huawei E585 <-
What I have done is place the 5m USB cable against a window, supported by suckers, on top of that is the Deal Extreme adaptor, plugged into a Huawei E585.
The snug fit of the adaptor, at both ends, enables the use of the E585 to be unsupported. (please see submitted photo)
When I want to leave to go somewhere. I just pull on the E585 and it comes out with the adaptor, from my USB cable. Perfect.

Cons: None.

Other: A Micro USB adaptor with a very snug and crisp fit. No wobble or looseness. The adaptor works perfectly for what it is designed to do.
The price is great value, as typically, in my country (Ireland), the cost of this kind of adaptor, from a mobile phone shop/supplier, is much higher.

Pros: - It can used for charging! (Of course, data too) - It did what it does, i just buy a protable charger and i need a USB->microUSB - Good build quality - It will be a bit expensive, but only just a bit

Cons: Nothing! I have nothing to say in Cons, it was a great product and no cons at all, i am feeling happy and satisfied on this product!

Other: Just buy it if you needed!

Pros: This adaptor is very handy for some cell phones and my blue tooth. I like the size and no cords because it does not take up much room.

Cons: It did arrive dented on the side of the USB port but was easily straightened with some flat nose pliers and it functions great.

Other: It is a very good value.
I recommend buying one or two for spares.

Pros: I got this to hook an MP3 player to my car stereo.
It works perfectly, and even keeps the MP3 from sliding around the console. Even fits my cellphone to charge it from the USB in my radio.
Build quality seems to be fine. Solid and well finished.
Value? What do you expect? It came from DealExtreme - the Internet's best place to buy these little gadgets!
Would I buy another one? I already did! I guess that answers that question.

Cons: This has been in almost constant use for a while now, and has always worked perfectly. I see no cons, and recommend this to anyone needing a device like this. You won't beat the price anywhere!

Other: You know you need this - this is the place to get it!

Pros: - It's a USB to Micro USB adapter.
- Size is almost as small as it can get.
- No visible defects.
- It works. For both data and charging.
Honestly, none of the above impresses me.
What impresses me the most, is that it is only $1.50, and they shipped it to me for free!

Cons: None.

Other: The cheapest you can find anywhere, and it even includes air shipping... Mind boggling...
I'm going to buy loads of this and stick one into every USB port that I might connect my phone to.

Pros: This USB adapter is designed for MINI USB devices. It is made of plastic but it seems to be resistant. It has five pins, 6 mm of width. I connect it to the PC and no have any problem with the connection.

Cons: I think it is not a MICRO USB adapter, it is a MINI USB adapter. You can not use in MINIPHONE cells as model KA-08.

Other: Please be carefull when purchasing this item, it is useful but you should be very sure that you need it. I suggest to measure the MINI or mICRO USB connection in your device before buy it.

Pros: - Great for directly connecting into devices rather than specific length cables.
- Works for any Micro USB powered devices.
- Easy to travel with, especially for laptops and to connect directly into a USB port.

Cons: None whatsoever in this instance.

Other: I mainly got this as an alternative for plugging micro USB devices directly into my PC's USB ports rather than having to worry about cable even if they are short ones just for a certain distance. This does the job perfectly for that.

Pros: Now, an adapter for the phone will always be with me. Adapter small, without wires, does not occupy a lot of space in your pocket. You can even carry it in your wallet.

Cons: Before, I could not wear a wire in his pocket. With this adapter, a place in the pockets of many. It has long been searching for a similar adapter, and now I'm happy. Why do we have in Russia I have not found a similar adapter. For sale is the only with a short wire. But it's not very convenient to wear with them.

Other: Very good device! Going to order a few more pieces of adapters for friends and acquaintances.

Pros: Can load equiments with 2A current and works with all types of stuff starting with phone to USB fridge. Datatransfer works normally just like Sony-Ericsson own cable.

Cons: Crude look and the thing is too small. I have lost all my three adapters

Other: If you need one byu this. It works and you can use your old wires for example at work to load your mp3 player or phone.

Pros: The nice thing about this device is that it is small and thus convenient to lug around instead Of an actual cable. I can it it easily into my earphone pouch and take it wherevery I go for easy charging

Cons: The thing is small and if you're not careful, also easily to be lost. Hence this being my 2nd purchase cos I lost the 1st one as I forgot to zip up my earphone pouch.

Other: Good stuff. Really useful for the prices I got it for. Perhaps it could have been better but as the current juncture, I am not sure what else can be done to make it be better.
