What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: 1. Color display. 2. Modern looks. 3. Division ratio of the probe is put a manual, which gives possibility to use any probe without calculation of current value range Volts/div and direct readout it from display. 4. Menu in russian language. 5. Is Packed in the original box with a handle for carrying. 6. Disgusting stink. 7. Remembers the oscillogram width of one screen, which does not allow you to view detailed narrow pulse following the leading pulse with a long delay. 8. Big latency: delayed waveform updates, so you can not see the transition. 9. AC input plug is Australia standard with three flat contact. 10. PC application on CD or in Internet site UNI-T do not work: refuse to communicate with the oscilloscope. 11. Unable to determine where the top of the box as a box wrapped completely nontransparent tape that makes it difficult to correct cutting tape on the edges of the cover.
Cons: no
Other: no

Pros: shows OK up to 100 Mhz digital signals, menu is quite intuitive (though reading the booklet is a must for some functions). The PrtScr button is a very quick way to get screen snapshot (settings values are shown nicely in same snapshot).
Cons: 1. The PC connection is not functioning at all: It came with CD with Chinese letters in file name, failed to install. I downloaded the app from UNI-T site, it opened, even showed the scope is connected, but nothing functioned (except a few knobs that turned around by my mouse - the rest stayed grey). Note it prevented me from verifying memory depth (cannot get the recorded signal into a file to check the ability to post-process) 2. The screen is stated as 800x480 pixels. The snapshot provides a 400x240 BMP file. I suspect that the system resolution is half of the actual display and of the promise in spec. (probably memory / SW lack of support ?) 3. A few more minor "expectation gaps" found comparing the user manual to the scope (e.g. missing "Video" "ALT trig" and "EXT/5" options in trigger menu)
Other: At the time being, I believe it is the best standalone scope for its price, especially if you just want to see signals up to ~100Mhz and do not really need more than keeping snapshots of the screen.
