UV-3R Dual-Band Pocket Two Way Radio Walkie Talkie

Pros: I"ve bought this because I go sometimes for 2-3 days hike. We use just for fun this small Baofeng clone radio.
I've tried as a baby watcher, it worked (VOX function)
+ Easy to carry
+ Li-ion battery (8 hours
+ cheap replacement battery
+ good distance (500m-1000m)
+ FM radio
+ Led light

Cons: DX shiped one of them without cover. I had to order from other webshop. The cover was for Baofeng UV-3R and it perfecly fit to my Magiksun.

Other: Good toy. Nothing serious, buy if you want a cheap, light, walkie-talkie.
If you are a proffesional buy other more serious brand.

Pros: Lightweight yet sturdy for a radio of this size. No loose plastic parts.
Relatively easy to use.
Decent sensitivity.

Cons: Second harmonic on VHF is only 20 dB down. Needs modifying the VHF band filter chain if a non-stock antenna is to be used.
Really bad selectivity of RF front end. Another transmitter nearby on the same band may completely destroy reception. Deaf in areas where the spectrum is crowded.

Other: If you're looking for a budget portable transceiver, go for it.
