    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Skype rocks and this phone makes it even easier. I don't like the mic-headset combos and like the feel of a "real" phone. This phone gets that done and won't make your arm tired from holding it (it's very lightweight). For a quick down and dirty, no frills USB Skype phone - this one gets it done. Works with Skype 3.0 on Windows XP Pro.

    Cons: Feels like my kid's toy phone. The button press is very stiff and makes it difficult to dial from the phone. I'm a walking talker so I'd like a little more cord to work with.

    Other: What sells this phone and keeps me from sending it back is the price. I figure if it ever quits working I can just snip off the cord and hand it to my kid to play with. I'd have no problem recommending this phone to a friend with the caveats I've listed here.
