While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Works well without having to power it with separate battery power. Easy to read scale quickly informs tester of remaining power remaining in the battery. Tests many sizes & is pretty acurate.
Cons: A bit lean on the build side, though for the money & occasional use one simply cannot go wrong with this portable unit.
Other: For the price you truly cannot go wrong. Will make wonderful gifts to anyone who uses a lot of batteries. Cool little unit!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Cheap battery tester that does 9 volt batteries as well
Cons: just a cheap plastic gadgget with resistors inside
Other: its ok, if you don't have a battery tester buy this for cheap
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Affordable & portable, lightweight flexible (will test many different battery types), this handy tester reads voltages at an acceptably accurate manner. Easy to read & handle as well.
Cons: A little on the cheap end build-wise, but hey!: considering the price there is no real complaint here in this.
Other: Not only is this deal worth it but they would make great little gifts as well. Can' go wrong in purchasing these small wonders!~
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Valuable for anyone who wants to know the charge of batteries.
Cons: Dial almost always sticks at max when first measuring a battery, regardless of charge (shaking it is the only way to reliably unstick it).
A fully charged battery and one that's borderline have only a few mm difference on the dial between them. Only truly dead batteries venture into the red zone.
Poor slide mechanism.
Other: Overpriced considering the dodgy build quality, but I don't exactly see any other battery testers around. A must for anyone who has no other method of testing batteries.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: easy to use, tests all common batteries
Cons: could be smaller, doesn't have spring on sliding test part.
Other: if you need one, get one... but with multimeter you can do lot more...
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: good test
Cons: wire on mine broke inside
Other: great for price but might break
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It works and helps you to understand how much energy your batteries have approximately. It can measure lots of battery types.
Cons: Cheap material. Looks like it has a short usefull life and will break down rapidly.
Other: It has a cheap material.
it's fragile
Looks like doesnt have a long life
Dont give the exact mAh value.
But it works and helps you to measure your batteries overally and it's cheap. If you need a gadget such like that, buy one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Works on almost all batteries! (Including button batteries)
- The price is OK for this product.
- 2 different volt readings, one for button batts and one for the rest.
Cons: - Build quality, looks a little cheap and probably is, but i haven't had any trouble with it. Should last long if handled with care.
Other: You get what you pay for! If you need a tester to show aproximatly how much there is left on your batteries, this is the one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: You can understand whether your batter is full or not and you can seperate the usefull ones from a batch of bateries.
Cons: You cant understandt exactly how much battery power does it have. Its needle is not usefull to show the level. The colors of the graph are not helpfull.
Other: You cant see very well how much power exactly does it have but you can buy it if you need. Built quality is very low. It's not for a professional use.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: This is the gadget you ever wanted without knowing you needed. Can test the most popular models of batteries. I can't believe that took so long for someone build and sell such a thing, since the batteries exist and are very popular for many many years. The price is very good.
Cons: Useless to test CR123A, CR2 or others with voltage different than 1.5v.
Other: I bougth another, because my father kinda "stole" mine. He loved that too.
