    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Cheap.
    Takes all kinds of batteries
    Ease of use.
    Surprisingly sturdy.
    Same functionality as original battery grip.

    Cons: A bit of a gap between the camera and the grip, but it is hardly noticeable.
    Different build quality from the 7D magnesium alloy housing, of course. But not a problem.
    Not sure how tough it is in bad weather.

    Other: This battery grip is good value for the money. I had no problems installing it and using it right away.

    Pros: Great Product, works same as original. Fits the canon 7d perfectly. 2 * batteries of canon 7d worked together. Wheel same as original.

    Cons: AA batteries not working, maybe they should be rechargeable. The shutter and focus button is hard to press unlike original which is smooth.

    Other: Perfect. Recommended for others.
