Vertical External Battery Grip for Nikon D300/D700 DSLR

Pros: - functions as good as the original MB-10, if not better because of the additional IR wireless remote
- i like the groved grip, the original MB-10 didn't have this
- comes with a car charger connector which is pretty cool
- way cheaper than the original MB-10, and by the cheapest i've seen offered online

Cons: - built quality is a notch lower as compared to the MB-10. Should not be a major problem, as long as you don't abuse it.
- it doesn't have have the rubberised layer, so the grip on the MB-10 is slightly better.

Other: Would highly recommend this to owns a Nikon D300/D700 and is in need of a vertical grip. I'm quite surprised that no one has put up a review for this item yet.
Anyway, it's almost permanently stuck to my D700 body - unless I'm travelling light.

Pros: . Durable material and quality, the grip is firm and very nice.
. It has all the functions of the original and a car charger for the EN-EL3 battery and wireless controller battery that works very well.
. Here in Brazil, even with the fees, costs 60% cheaper.

Cons: . Lack of protection and the rubber firmly. The fit is perfect, but it is lacking a bit in the finish, left some edges between the camera and grip. What does not hurt or affect the use. Using carefully and always cleaning, will last well. The case of AA batteries is firm, but the cells are tightly, and can break.

Other: The price is a great buy. I recommend for any user of Nikon D700, D300 and D300s. It also includes the EN-EL4 battery, but the charger does not support it. Overall is a good buy for those who do not want to spend much with the original Nikon.
