Pros: Easy manual in English is included. Simple to use. Easy to install on several types of bikes. Seems to be great value for money. Waterproof. Alarms really sounds hard enough. 3 sensitivety levels. Can also be used on a recumbend bike or a velomobile.
Cons: Easy to change sensitivety but you can not see which level it's on. A little bit of trial and error solves this matter though.
Other: Seems to be good value for money. First item I buy from this website but it will not be last. Service is very good.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It's cheap, it's loud, it works as expected. User manual is easy to understand. It's easy to change passcode and sensitivity level (current sensitivity level is indicated with one, two or three beeps).
Cons: Build quality is not very good. The film with ABCD symbols bulging and under it can get dirt and water. The lid is not tight, so water gets inside when mounted lid up and buttons down.
Other: Useful thing not only for bicycles.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: 1: Loud, annoying sound. Just what's needed in an alarm.
2: Easy to use.
3: Good price.
4: Appears to be weather resistant.
5: Low weight.
Cons: 1: the clamp is too small to fit most mountain, comfort or cruiser bike frames - apparently, it ONLY fits correctly on thin frame road bikes.
2: the clamp is too large to fit on the handlebars.
3: it's hard to tell the sensitivity level, as nowhere does it say if one beep means MOST sensitive, or LEAST sensitive. And, it's hard to tell if one beep is any more (or less) sensitive than three beeps...
Other: Even though the sensitivity level doesn't seem to do much, the alarm is easy enough to use, and appears to be sensitive enough to work as intended - to deter at least casual theft. The cost is low enough that it should be considered, especially if you have a tiny-framed bike.

Pros: Loud and easy to use alarm for a fair price. Comes with a manual in english and is very easy to install. Three adjustble sensitivity levels. Construction made is rainproof. Low power consumption (I installed mine 4 months ago and the battery still good).
Cons: Mount does not fit on thicker tubes, but it will fit in many bike models. It has no other cons.
Other: Good value and perfect for the job. Well done DealExtreme!

Pros: This is great product. Fit nicely on my bike (should be round and smaller tube) It's clever designed because battery is protected by the tube when you mount it, it is impossible to remove the battery and therefor stop the alarm without unscrewing it form the bike, which will take a lot of time (at least took me a lot to mount it). After initial settings you just need to remember your password, and how to set it on. Very load siren. Alarm is small and hard to be seen, so you have the advantage of surprise.
Cons: On my product I couldn't change (actually save) the new settings, but the default ones are fine for me anyway.
Other: Buy this it's cheap and it can save your bike.

Pros: Been using this on my kid's bike since last year. We don't have it exposed to the elements (bike is kept outside, but under a bike cover), but so far it's really none the worse for wear. Definitely loud enough to notice, but with the sensitivity set properly it does not false alarm even on windy days.
Cons: Be careful in entering the disarm code. After a few attempts, it locks out the keypad for three minutes, during which the alarm will still sound if triggered (and you'll have no way to turn it off other than to wait three minutes!)
Other: It's not going to prevent a determined person from taking your bike, but at least it'll do its best to attract attention during the theft!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very good price - the best.
Code lock so there is no key to lose.
3 different sensitivity levels for your need - it's not nice if you bicycle yells at someone when they but their bicycle in holder next to you.
Compact size
Cons: The holding clip is way to small for most of bike. I had to put it around seat pipe for now but I tried and it is impossible to remove the seat without activating the alarm.
Other: Good and small easy to use extra security that I recommend to use with good strong flat key lock.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: easy to mount, easy to use, makes enough noise to prevent a possible thief to complete his action. of course a good lock and putting your bike in a place where people are passing by will improve your bikes security
Cons: took some time to find a suitable mounting place (frame didn't provide enought free space, due to other accessories)
and to find the right sensitivity level.
Other: for that low price, i feel my bike is much more protected now. (similar alarms cost a multiple when bought in the local stores
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Really loud and sensitive
- Lock and key free; all you need is your code.
Cons: - Accidental triggering is common due to the high sensitivity
- It's actually so sensitive, that when you start to put the code in, the alarm sounds for an instant!
- Sometimes it does not respond to the code, and you'r stuck with a continuous alarm
- At first it's hard to get the hang of it
- Mounting can be difficult due to size issues
- Not the cheapest product on DealExtreme
Other: Although I have listed several cons, this device is an excellent must-have for all concerned bikers. It works, and it's simple, and has definitely been a positive experience.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: It works 100% as written.
It is very easy in use (time to attach it to a vehicle and tune is 3 to 5 minutes).
It looks cool, people will ask you "what is that clever box at your bike?", and you will have fun.
Cons: It's a tricky, to attach it to thick metal tubes of some bikes - the holding clip has approx. only 38 millimeters diameter. It your bike has metal tubes more than 38mm - think how you will fix it first.
Other: It's example of a thing, designed and produced with quality.
