VMR6512 Hi-Fi FM Transmitter DIY Evaluation Module (EVM) Board (Random Color)

Pros: VMR6512 FM audio transmitter with the power of embedded digital signal processor it offers true broadcasting level performance. Excellent signal level being able to receive strong signal without interference even through two walls and about 10 meters. In the piece I got the mounting plate is well made and good quality.

Cons: It could come mounted in a case and ready to be used with a manual stating that the antenna length should be between about 70 cm (27 inches) to function properly. This antenna may be a common flexible wire (e.g. 26 AWG or 0.12 mm2). All transmitters emits, besides the desired signal, spurious signals at various frequencies and with different amplitudes, that the amplitude of the unwanted signals depends on the quality of the transmitter design. In unit tested the amount of spurious signals was too large interfering in almost every FM band, may cause interference to radios neighbors.

Other: Excellent purchase, worth every penny paid although it may cause interference to radios neighbors.

Pros: * Good transmission quality, even through some walls * Easy to use and to interface * Supports digital and analog audio * Perfect to try out the VMR6512

Cons: * Isn't that simple to get to a specific frequency because there is ne visual feedback
