    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Nice construction. The release button for the key is very good. It's firm and easy to push in. Plastic feels nice and solid. It seems to be a very good construction. I don't know if it's original, but it has a VW logo on it.

    Cons: None as I know of

    Other: If you need a new part for you VW folding key, this is it.

  • Great Key at a Great Price

    Pros: This key worked great for my 2003 Passat GLX 4Motion wagon. I paid $35 to have it cut and I programmed it to my car with SKU# 28527 ([url]http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.28527[/url]). After figuring out how to use the software, it took no more than 2 minutes to mate the key to my car.

    Cons: I don't think that this is an item that that they can screw up on. It looks and feels like the original.

    Other: Better than paying $280 for a new key at the dealership!
