Pros: Well built, good design, image quality is very good @ 1080p resolution.
Camera set up is very intuiutive and easy to handle.
English manual covers all necessary information

Cons: Microphone is very sensitive. I mean, so sensitive that you can hear the noise of pushing zoom buttom.
Zoom doesn't work in full hd mode.
You can't record if HDMI cable is connected on TV.

Other: Impossible to find a better product at same price, so I'm satisfied with it.

Pros: I received this little camera and i am very impressed with it. It works out of the box as promised. The video quality is perfect The sound it records also is good. at 720p and 1080p the quality is superb. It has also many languages for the menu.

Cons: There is no zoom on 1080p as read in previous reviews. The microphone picks up every button click.

Pros: During our summer holliday in the caribic we Have used this camera for scuba diving officialy this camera can only have à few meters under water but my experience is that THE camera still work at 8 meters under water. Great!!! Battery is from à good and do not to be charged quick.

Cons: The zoom function is not working very good during filming. There is also a picture possabilaty but here you probelbly prevere à digital camera.

Other: Have not tried it out in deep water. Hopefully it does not get damaged after the first dive.

Pros: -battery lasts for about 1hr45min whilst filming -nice colour, design and size -pretty good quality video -easy to use

Other: I own the camera over a year ago and I have no complaints for the price you pay. I have to say it's a little shaky to be filming and moving fast, but it is understandable for a camera in this category. At first I had some fear put into the water, but even I pull into the pool and continued filming without any problem. I recommend this product

Pros: -The outside (yellow part) of the casing appears to be made of metal -Look sturdy enough to take a few drops -Very simple user interface -Many buttons give an easy access to many functions -Definatelly splash proof ... water proof function TBD -Comes with transport casing, hdmi cable, video, USB... -Vivid colors... helpful to retrive the cam in water -Macro function

Cons: - Only comes with one battery - DX does not appears to sell the battery (Do not confuse the Casio NP-40 (for this cam) with the Fugi NP-40 (sold on DX)) - The screen hinges doesn't appears to be very strong when openned. - If you plan on using the "zoom", forget it, even when you can use it ( lower res modes) it is still a crappy digital zoom.

Other: If you look for a simple to use cam, without all the bells and whissels of a professionnal one, but more sturdy than lots of other cheap cam, This is a good buy.

Pros: is really waterproof, I've used in rivers and the sea and still working perfectly even after more than a year. it is beautiful, shiny paint and with a little care, still like new! The HD videos are excellent and give great high speed video in slow motion, but remain at low resolution. I usually leave at 720.

Cons: is not good for photos, even at night since it has no flash, but after all, is a camcorder. the lantern it is entertaining, but not very useful the audio is not very good, I believe it is because it is waterproof, but if you push the buttons makes noise during recording. when recording goes around 40 minutes, the lens fogs up on the inside, for me this is the worst thing of it = /, but with a few minutes of rest is back to normal it also blurs with cold water, but outside (simply washing =])

Other: I really like it, would buy it again without a doubt, even more than here I find exactly the same as three times the price I paid.
