Waterproof 720P 5M Pixel CMOS Vehicle Mount Video Recorder/Camcorder w/ Red Laser/HDMI/TV-Out/SD

Pros: - It truly is a 720p camera. Picture quality is good especially in good light. In low light conditions there is some noise, but it's not bad.
- It's possible to switch date and time on video on and off.
- RF remote control is great.
- No "jello" effect when camera vibrates as in most cheap helmet cameras.
- A lot of mounting options included.
- Build quality seems to be good.

Cons: - Strong barrel distortion but that can be expected in such a wide angle lens.
- Vignetting from upper left corner.
- No option to use aaa batteries in case the li-ion battery runs out of juice.
- Sound quality isn't that great, but that can also be expected in a waterproof camera.
- Could be smaller.
- No night vision.

Other: - A lot cheaper than competing products like Helmet Hero or Contour HD.
- Good value for money.

Pros: - Beautiful picture when viewing angle includes very bright areas in contrast with darker (snow with clear sky).
- Robust body of camera with easy control.

Cons: - Really quiet microphone. Contrasts with loudly noise from buttons handling.
- Included battery self-discharges very quickly. After 1 week of charging and not using, it was fully discharged.
- I was unable to charge battery in included external charger. Charging inside camera works fine.
- Plastic mounts are made from extremely brittle plastic, it breaks very easily (in my case at home during setting up).
- When scene contain area with similar brightness (e.g. wood, landscape with cloudy sky), it is overexposed and very bright. But someone could like it.
- My packaging didn't include car charger.

Other: Good stuff with good price. Unfortunately, it has some bugs that protect it from being excellent.

Pros: - image/video quality could be better but is good enough for the price - very good build quality, it seems to be really resistant - the controls are easy to use and intuitive - multipurpose, lots of mounting options - can be used as a car camera, action camera (mounted to a helmet, etc) and many other - the remote control is a nice idea, but would be much better if it had any recording indicator - the battery can be easily replaced (easy to buy a spare one)

Cons: - strong noise in dark areas - strong barrel distortion and vignetting - long delays when turning on or off, or starting/stopping recording - sometimes it's very hard to determine if it is recording or not, especially when mounted on a helmet (because of the delays and sound indicator not loud enough) - sometimes it's irritating when I have to unmount the camera to check if it has started recording or not and in some situations it's not that easy

Other: I recommend this product.

Pros: - Well quality material. - Really waterproof (not sumergible) - Wide angle - Strong enought to handle vibrations. (off road motorcycling) - Algo handles a few fell downs... - Nice interface and easy controls. - Very recomendable for "starting" filming hobby or enthusiasts with low budget. - Nice filming quality (also very recomendable as security camera) - More than enougth atachable options. - well distance remote control

Cons: - Worst audio ever! - Doesn´t have any kind of stablilizer. (shoud think about this) - Doesn`t have zoom options neigther when tv plugged in. - Too many cables and conectors. - Battery could be better. - Lack of screen shouldn't be a problem, but still is. - "Lasser" option only works fine indoors (very low power lasser, you cant see it in a sunny day outdoors) - Sucks at low ligth conditions and is a little slow adjusting at changes of ligth sun/shadow riding escenarios.

Other: I really have it, used it a few weeks, but after a few more weeks, it's on the closet gathering powder.

Pros: It is a very good camera with film and sound good. I have not compared with each other to compare quality. Comes with many accessories, remote control, laser, HDMI, USB, video output, etc.. It is convenient to mount, as in my case, in the motorcycle helmet and go shooting landscapes while you drive and using the remote control can facilitate this. The laser is used to point to where one record.

Cons: I have not found many cons but the remote would bring with one more light. Bring an LED that indicates when you press the record button but does not indicate if recording and complicated if one drives. You have to stop to see and loses all sense but being careful do not will be a problem, although it could have it to get better.

Other: It's a good, simple and attractive camera to record your trips.

Pros: -Quality is very good for an action camera -You can select SD or HD quality -You can order spare parts like the battery -Alot accessories -Remote and laser pointer very usefull(on helmets) -Acceptable quality at night -Manual is English and clear -Waterproof(!)

Cons: -Microphone captures alot wind noise -No microphone input connector, only camera microphone is available
