Waterproof Marine ESC Electric Speed Controller for R/C Model Boats (50A)

Pros: Best pricing i've seen so far, even ebay is selling at twice the price. Does what it describes to do. Pretty much dummy proof, just follow the schematics on the instruction sheet for connections and bam! You have a ESC for your RC boat.

Cons: Module gets pretty hot after a few minutes of usage, so consider a water heat sink or a cooling fan.

Other: Running it for a couple of months and it's good. Get it if you need it!

Pros: I bought this speed controller for the RC car of my son. The old controller was not able to power the new motor i had mounted in it, so i searched DX for a better one. And i found it! This controller is the most robust one i ever encountered, it even survives a reverse connected battery :-) I wanted to connect the battery, but fried the battery wires doing this. Ouch! When i looked, i found that the pins in the battery connector of the old controller were reversed. I quickly disconnected the battery and resoldered the wires. I connected the receiver and voila, it all worked, the car raced off my desk with an amazing speed! the RC car is pretty dated, it has a 20 year old Robbe receiver and Robbe servo, but it all works very well, the receiver and speed controller understand eachother fine.

Cons: No real cons, maybe the fact that i had to modify all connectors on the controller, but that was mainly because of the dated equipment and ditto connectors.

Other: A foolproof speed controller, very powerful, very, very robust. Two thumbs up, it's the best i have ever seen. Get it while you can!
