Waterproof Night Vision IR 30-LED Camera (PAL/DC 12V 500mA)

Pros: - Quite cheap
- Construction might indeed be water proof as advertised
- IR-leds adjust automatically depending the lighting conditions
- B/W picture is excellent, a pitch black room and the camera inside produced a fine picture
- Finally, a PAL cam!

Cons: - Color picture is a bit "off"
- Big size compared to the other IR-camera sold here. I'd buy the other one if I was installing camera to a car.
- A sligh red glow in the IR-leds, can be seen at dark conditions

Other: Good camera, definitely worth buying

Pros: Very cheap price, would cost 40euro here. Seems water proof but I haven't tested.
LEDs adjust automatically thanks to a photosensor on the pcb. Night vision works really well, although it is strange to see things in IR spectrum.

Cons: Some colours are over-saturated. Quite chunky for what's in it. The LEDs glow faintly red so not great for hidden security cam apps. IR light goes about 10 feet, not great.

Other: Cheap PAL camera with bonus night vision. Decent quality.

Pros: Great analog camera. It's easy to use, if you have something to capture analog video. It's steel case its very fine. The InfraRed module can be easily taken off. And has not IR filter, which may be very convenient. It may be used for multi-touch projects.

Cons: The color quality is not the best, but is good enough. It's a good choice for this price.

Other: It is a good camera, with a good relation quality vs price. If you are going to do some IR project (you don't want color at all), this is your camera.

Pros: - Good build quality.
- (Almost) easy to use (I'll specify why in the Cons section)
- CHEAP!
- Nice looking.
- Genious mounting bracket included.

Cons: - No wiring schematic, which of the pins on the connector is the ground and which is the supply?
- The image quality is a bit saturated.
- No possibilty to turn off the automatic IR light.

Other: Now that I've showed you how to connect a power supply to the camera, there should not be any doubt about buing this camera.
BUY IT!!

Pros: Has the most IR LEDs on this site, and is probably the best "home" setup camera you will get.
Solid built body.
IR comes on nice and gradually.
Waterproof... I cannot see anything to show otherwise.

Cons: In bright sunlight the colours are washed out a bit, this is kind of expected for an IR camera because of the filter (but still, it's not a Pro).
The mount makes it hard to mount, you can get it pointing where you want... but it doesn't mean the image will be orientated correctly.

Other: Most robust "cheap" camera I have owned.

Pros: It's small, good built, works fine and it's even water proof :)

Cons: The IR LEDs glow red in the dark and there is no possibilty to turn off the automatic IR light!

Other: A very good camera for that money ! At the moment I own only one of this for my surveilance sistem, but I think that I 'll buy a few more !

Pros: -nice image - nice housing - IR leds have a nice viewing distance @ night

Cons: - buid quality bord isnt that good - Loved to see this cam without this connectors, so it kan be installed thru a hole in the wall

Other: Nice camera with a nice price. build quality isnt superbe. PCB soldering isnt great.

Pros: - It's pretty cheap, but at DX could even be a little cheaper
- It works and shows the picture
- It has 30 IR leds! shows pretty good at night
- Metal housing

Cons: - It doesn't show all the colors right. I don't know if it's a faulty unit or supposed to do like that.
- O Ring isn't that good, when you open it few times it will get stuck or break..

Other: If you need a cheap and pretty good security camera for it's price then you should get this one.

Pros: very good waterproof camera.it has 30 IR led
which gives a very clear and precise picture at night. the resolution is amazing. it is very cheap and nice looking. moreover the camera is waterproof...what is more it has a mike inside it which can monitor audio.practical in any places such as bedrooms where babies are.

Cons: it can be easily stolen if it fixed outside.(especially if it hand reachable).

Other: it is very practical to use for monitoring in shops , offices, and so on.because it very cheap and the quality is good also.

Pros: Excellent camera, mount robust and well made, has identified all the connectors and the manual is reasonably well explained. The seal seems good, although I have not tested it overwhelms the water, but is excellent for outdoor use. The infrared is activated automatically when the external light decreases, and the intensity of infrared light with a proportional light outside.

Cons: Blurry, the manual lacks indication of the polarity of power, which for some countries may be reversed. The amount of infrared LEDs 30 is great for large environments, but for very close objects can be illuminated by saturating the image too.

Other: A great camera if you do not want to spend too much and needs a good amount of them.
