Waterproof Vehicle Parking Rear-View Camera (PAL)

Pros: Covers 170 degrees to the rear of your vehicle. The colour and image quality are as good as the camera in my other car. The camera displays a grid screen over the image that is colour coded to indicate closeness to the back of the vehicle. Nice and small. Can be mounted unobtrusively with the provided bracket.

Cons: No instructions provided. It pretty much just plugs into the connections to the monitor however if you want to use this as a reversing camera you need to wire it up to the positive terminal of the reverse light. My old camera which is similar in look does appear to be better sealed where the wire goes into the back of the camera than this one. I'm not willing to drop this one in a bucket of water to find out if it is actually waterproof.

Other: I believe that a reversing camera should be mandatory on all vehicles. This one is worthwhile and if I need another one I will get this model again assuming it doesn't break down in the meantime.

Pros: It is very small. i mounted the camera inside the third stop light and it is almost invisible from the outside. It works good in the dark as well. I would not recommend to use a night vision camera because they are bigger and ugly. This one looks classy and very small. And the back gear light is completely enough for the luminosity requirement. Has enough lenght of cables. And easy to connect. One tip that is not written there; power source is + inside the plug and - outside the plug.

Cons: There is no single instructions paper inside the box. But its not necessary at all.

Pros: la camara es mas pequeña de lo que parece, es ligera y la construccion es solida, parece bien hermetizada, tiene buena resolucion de cerca aunque de lejos parece que pierde bastante. Su colocacion correcta es con los tornillos para arriba. Viene con una cuadricula dibujada en la parte de abajo para medir distancias

Cons: la camara NO es PAL, es NTSC, la compré por necesitar una camara PAL pero no es así, tampoco hay manera de configurarla en otro modo, no hay botones, software o modo alguno de configurarla, tampoco brillo, contrastes, luminosidad.
Contraste un poco alto para mi gusto, un dia soleado se ve demasiado sobreexpuesto

- great video output, very clear and crisp, good at low light

Cons: the video output rotated about 20 degrees, end up bending the bracket until the output looks right
looks like the manufacturer didnt test it before sell

Other: its great camera for the price, but the quality control seems not checking enough, or no qc at all?

Pros: Even smaller than excpected. Very nice quality finish. Relatively easy to install & hide. Shows the reverse "grid" with colors to help see the distance. Mirror image (left/right swap for reverse use).

Cons: Due to small objective size not so sharp when things are further.

Other: Nice small camera. Works well for many reverse needs. Generates a "parking grid" for you.

Pros: Compact and seems solid in build quality. Front of cam can be removed or loosened to rotate the cam in the mounting bracket or completely remove the bracket. Somewhat sharp picture. It may very well be quite waterproof, as it is completely glued together.

Cons: Mirrored picture. (Green display overlay)

Other: At first, this cam seemed perfect for use on my RC plane (FPV), and I decided that the picture grid overlay could be useful. However, the mirrored image makes unusable to me, unless I find out how to mirror the image back.
