WD 640GB 2.5" USB 3.0 Mobile External Hard Drive Storage Device - Black

Pros: Quick access, good build quality and very low weight make this external HD very useful to carry around.

Cons: This is the second one i have, and this one says "Toshiba" instead of "Western Digital". Other than that, the hard drive it's excellent.

Other: Don't mind the brand. It's an excellent disk and does what it says. Price is very good compared to prices on my country, so it's a win in every way for me.

Pros: This is a very good hard disk. It's very lightweight and fast. I use it everyday to backup all the files I download. I've already one of this, and probably going for a third.

Cons: The only "problem" i've found is that the case says WD but the OS detects it as "Toshiba" hard drive. It's not really the brand it says, but a matter of luck I guess. The first one I got was a real WD, though.

Other: Buy it if you're looking for a cheap and reliable hard drive, easy to transport and storage. It also comes with a nice imitation leather pouch.

Pros: Good size, nice looking and finishing, super-fast when using on USB 3.0. A must-have in everyday use and growing popularity of SSD drives, especially on Notebooks.

Cons: USB Cable could be black color, just a cosmetic suggestion

Pros: Great in all aspect, its really a original western Digital Hard Drive. Good size, nice looking and finishing, super-fast.

Pros: Sturdy. USB cable is noticeably thicker than the average transfer cable, and the case is rubberized which protects against slipping and minor jolts. Fast. Transfer rates can be above average even on good USB2.0 chipsets.

Cons: Connector is proprietary on the HD side, and finding a replacement shouldn't be too easy. My device behaves poorly and disconnects occasionally when the connector is plugged into the PC all the way; this caused some data corruption until I figured out what was going on.

Other: Good value for the money.

Pros: Product arrived as informed. The quality cover (like thin rubber) is good to carry on. It's a 3.0 USB so connection speeds is ok.

Cons: Very short usb cable. Forget to place this HDD on back USB switch it could complicate your life. Dosn't come with cape.

Pros: Practical, compact, handy, works as promised, has a small blue led indicator that tells you when the hard disk is actually in use. Overall I'm quite happy with this purchase and I definitely recommend it.

Cons: It makes a tiny irritating sound whenever the hard disk is connected but for some reason cannot be read and used. It hardly never happens (except for the first time it gets connected still without the driver but still I find it a bit annoying... I guess the price is ok but there could be competitors to it so choose your merchandise with wisdom.

Pros: I got the product in a great shape, working perfect. All you have to do is plug the cable and start using, so very easy to use. The design is nice, and the drive itself is pretty light. It's a USB 3.0, which make the transfer of files very fast from your computer to the drive and back.

Cons: Nothing really, It works as it should be.

Other: Great product, very good price. It's actually 3\4 of the lowest original price that I've check at my country. If you are looking to buy a good external hard drive for an affordable price, you found it.

Cons: The added "leather pouch" is useless. It's just a leather cloth quickly sewn together: after trying to put the drive inside - the pouch ripped. To me this isn't an issue but don't put your hopes up. As the external material is soft and matte, you wont need to protect it to deep scratches as competing brands with hard glossy plastics. While the cable feels like good quality, on my laptop the USB connector sometimes gives a weak contact. Not sure if it's the cable or my laptop.

Other: You want a USB 3.0 drive which can hold a decent amount and have it powered on a single USB-cable, get this drive. It's about half the price. By the time you get this filled - the upwards models will have been pushed down in price. Happy buyer.
