Pros: String with led's waterproof.

Bright led light.
That lights are made of led, is very good. Other regularly lights I have earlier bought, needs almost replacement every year. I don't think this is the case for this lights system because of the led.

Cons: Connection box not water proof
Little short kable from the power inlet to the control box.

Other: Good, cheep and useful Christmas light.

Pros: Its got waterproof lights and tons of cool settings to use, plus its very cheap and mine got shipped fairly fast too. I bought two and decorated my portch with them. Looks very christmassy. ^_^

Cons: The box isnt waterproof, but thats easily solved with a balloon. As mentionned by others the powercord is a bit short, so when laying out the lights, start with the cord end or you might be in trouble by the time you reach it. :') Packaging is a bit cheesy, as the whole thing is cluttered into a ball and put in a plastic baggy. Good thing these arnt fragile glass bulbs. ;)

Other: Cheap, goodlooking, plenty of features.
Buy some!

Pros: Nice set, is has been working for a month outside, under heavy rain, snow, and ice, and it is still in good condition. It has 8 programs switchable from the control box.

Cons: The price. I found a similar one at a lower price in my town some days later... It was dissapointing because I always expect DX to have best prices in this kind of gadgets. Other con is when you choose one program in the control box, and turn the set off later, when you set it on again, you loose the program and you have to select it again. I used a remote appliance controller, and when I switched it back on from indoor, I had to go outdoor to select my favorite program

Other: Good quality, regular price

Pros: It's long, it's transparent, it has 8 different ways to blink.

Cons: Programing box is NOT water proof, you can stick it in a balloon (or something transparent :). It has 3 (or 4) wire loops, 1 of them broke on the 1-st week, the second broke after a month. Now I need to solder rusted LEDs so it can be used next year.

Other: It's fun to decorate your house, but on what cost, I found similar product in my local store even cheaper. You need to repair it every year. If this is ok for you, you should buy this and brighter your holidays :) Cheers!

Pros: At 18 meters, this is a very long set of lights with a nice finish.
Leds give off a bright white light.
Will work in 110 AC volts too.
Four separate light sets, if one goes out the others still continue working.
8 different modes at the press of a button.

Cons: The build quality is reasonably good, but this light set is not waterproof and the led terminals will eventually rust if you leave it out in the rain.

Other: Not very cheap, but it´s a nice 180 light set and the shipping is free.

Pros: * very bright, installed on 7th floor balcony I can see it from hundreds meters away, even before sunset * light (compared on those products using lightbulbs), easy to install * VERY low consumption - measured 2-5W depending on the programm selected.

Cons: * the power cord is very short, only ~30cm, so I couldn't use first meter of lights from power outlet * I find most of the 'blink' programms to blink too aggresively, except for one (and the steady-lights one) * The gear box apparently isn't waterproof (although marked as IP44, what a joke). Easy to fix with a small plastic bag though

Other: Nice and very bright christmas decoration. Even if it lasts only one season still worth it.

Pros: It has a very high luminosity: It is installed all around a room. It make a sufficient light to see all in the room. We look at the television without any other light. I think that with another, it would be sufficient to live without other light emitter. the wires seem to be of good quality.

Cons: It has a very short power cable. It should be better with one meter. The electronic box's plastic seems to be easy broken-able and is not waterproof. One blinking mode is very hard. Not any information on the plastic bag.

Other: Good Christmas light. It it will live a long time, I am happy of my bought.
