  • Good antenna for this money.

Pros: Really good antenna! True 10dBi. I have stock 5dBi antenna and got -58dB signal, but when I connected this antenna I got -53dB! Used it with G-Sky link 500mW adapter.

Cons: No cons at all! Just the best antenna for this price!

Other: Buy it if you use Wi-Fi!

  • Amazing Performance for the Money!

Pros: This Wifly-City ANT-2400-D10i, 2.4GHz, 10dBi directional wireless antenna significantly increases the performance of my wireless USB device also purchased from DX.
Utilizing a standard R-SMA connector, it will screw onto the wireless USB devices you'll find here on DX that use the same connection. Specifically I've tested it on the Kinamax USB device with amazing performance gains.
The antenna itself comes well packaged with english instructions on the back although installation and use is very straight forward. Screw onto your USB device, point and receive.
I'm experiencing about a 25 percent increase in signal strength finding that long range reception on previously weak signals are now useable with this antenna.
The antenna is of quality construction, not cheap feeling at all. Quality built, tremendous performance gains and an amazing price.

Cons: None. The only con is that I didn't buy a couple spares!

Other: The bottom line on this device is that if you're looking to extend your wireless range on your USB wifi device, then purchasing this antenna is a no-brainer.
The cost to performance ratio is through the roof.
This is a purchase you won't regret!

Pros: - It looks strong, well built (doesn't look cheap at all) - It works very well! I bought this to connect it to a 1000mW WIFI dongle (sku 44928) and they work great together. I can connect to my friend's router in another building (about 500m far, clear area) and I get a strong signal (48dB). With my built-in WIFI card (an Intel WiFi Link 5100 AGN) I get only 83dB of signal!

    Cons: None

Other: Really worth for the price, it works fine.

Pros: I used this antenna with my 1W adapter and it works good. I also have 9dbi antenna from TP-link (costs~30 dollars)and both have the same performance. Connecting to a router 150m away -> 80% signal streinght(antenna with 1W adapter placed on the window, some trees between me and the neighbour, and one wall in his house where the router is). So not bad. Antenna nice and portable.

Cons: Not really a con but antenna is quite heavy and when it is connected to the adapter and placed on a table, the waight of the antenna elevates the adapter in the air.

Other: Dont buy those 16-18dbi rubber antennas, they cant compete with this one since this one has real 10dbi and those dont have real 16-18dbi.

    Pros: Build

    Cons: Doesnt work well.

Other: Well I bought this based on the excellent reviews here and was underwhelmed with its performance. Far from being directional, it appears to make no difference how the antenna is oriented at all and the signal is no better than my stock antenna that came with the router. Why it seemed so great for others and not for me is one of life's mysteries I spose.

Pros: Directional with True 10 dbi signal strength, small and compact design, economically priced, solid + durable construction.

    Cons: Shipping takes awhile

Other: Well designed antennas that deliver said performance gains. I've look around and I don't see anything else comparable to these antennas at this price range. Dealextreme delivers!

Pros: Very good antenna. Compact, very well see the access point. I use it with the SKU 41934 modem. In combination turns a very powerful device.
Almost all of the access point shows the signal 5 / 5. Half of the APs can not see laptop.

Cons: After some time, was free to rotate on an axis, it is difficult to fix on a certain direction.

Other: Small, powerful antenna. I recommend to buy if you need it.

Pros: I've used this on a few TP-Link 802.11N (2.4Ghz) 300Mb/s Access Points, and it increases signal levels by 6dB (default antennas are 4 dB) when directed correctly, otherwise on par (maybe 1dB better) if not directed correctly.
Increases range/speed in the direction of the flat/rounded antenna.

Cons: Heavy. Using three of these on a lightweight (plastic) access point makes the access point tip over.
No biggie, lean it against a wall, or prop it up.

Other: Works great - Great value.
Works with any standard (2.4Ghz) wifi router/ wifi Access point / Wifi PCI/PCI-E network card tha uses standard SMA connector.
Won't work with any routers with internal antenna's (I'm looking at you Belkin), unless you have a standard wifi device with detacheable antenna using SMA connector.

Pros: Actually, I was not able to use all advertised "pros" of this product because of it's low and strange build quality.

Cons: It was a not good idea to make it rotating more than 90 degrees. Thin cable and low quality soldering makes "rotation" feature useless and even harmful for device. So be careful while screw on. I have to re-solder the wire and disable over-rotation.

Other: I really disappointed by this product... By the first sight, it is very easy flat-panel antenna. I could make it by myself. But unfortunately, instead of enjoying high dBi at a reasonable price, I have to correct mistakes of producer. And the difference of internal silver plate is very strange. I suppose that all panegyric reviews are good for devices made in the beginning and mid of 2010. I'll be happy to discuss mentioned above issues at forum both in English and Russian language.
