Other: For this price a very good product. Finally I can connect the Wii to my projector with HDMI. My projector has no speakers. The sound goes to the home theater system.

Pros: this device is propably the easiest way to integrate a wii into your hdmi-driven homecinema system. installation couldn´t be easier, just plug it in and set your wii to output the videosignal at HDTV/480p the image quality improves clearly compared to the standard composite cable that comes with the wii the audio signal comes over hdmi, the 3,5mm jack is just optional

Cons: only con i discovered yet is that using the converter adds a bit too much contrast to the picture.

Other: if your wii is connected via the standard composite cable, this device is a real easy way of getting a better picture out of your console. but dont expect wonders, you dont get a higher resolution or a real HD picture! if you already use a component cable and dont need hdmi, its not worth getting this converter(imo). to the contrast problem: i dont have a flatscreen tv, i am playing on a kinda low-contrast beamer. so its not a big deal for me. but it could be annoying on modern high-contrast flat tv´s to adjust the image everytime you play wii.

Pros: it works perfect. of course not full hd 1080 but you can get almost best graphics for wii. i was using standart composite cable before. i got more colorful and sharper graphics with this adapter.

Cons: no cons at all, bu it gets hot while using it. and it should be cheaper.

Other: if you're still using standart composite cable and if you want to connect your wii to your hdmi monitor or hdtv you should buy this for better graphics and sharper images.

Pros: The idea of ??this item is perfect. It gives you the ability to receive the signal on PC monitors with HDMI input. Assembly is very easy, just plug it into the back of your Wii, and link with the PC monitor with an HDMI cable. If your monitor does not have audio output, Wii HDMI converter allows you to connect a headphone / speaker jack on the back.

Cons: In my case, at certain intervals of time 10/20 minutes lost all signal and must disconnect and reconnect the drive again. The embedded audio output is a bit narrow and I had trouble plugging my speakers here. Easily heated. DealExtreme refunded the money after I tell my problems.

Other: The idea of ??having an item that does this well is fantastic altough my item was defective
