Wiikey SD Card Adapter for Wii

Pros: it lets you start own homebrew code on GC/Wii, this will give you the ability to: *play GCN backups *start SNES, NES, GBA, PCE etc emulators *use ScummVM *use a media Player *use all kinds of homebrew tools

Cons: *requires action replay *requires input of a long (29 lines) AR-Code

Other: get it if you want ScummVM or don't have a modchip.

Pros: Works as advertised Made by the WiiKey company

Cons: No that I can think of

Other: I haven't used this for anything else but apparently it has many uses besides backing up games. A must if you own a modded Wii!

Other: If you have a modded wii, why don't you have this? It is a great price and it works excellently.

Pros: It works like it's supposed to. Size is really small, which is nice.

Cons: Takes a while to learn how to use it.

Pros: Almost TOO Easy to use! All you need is an SD card!

Cons: The sd card slot is small so the card sticks out......

Other: IF you have a wiikey, GET THIS!

Pros: Great for Homebrew and "other stuff" can be used with Animal Forest + (japanese game)

Cons: Datel's Action Replay required difficult to find websites and info onseting up and using it inputting about 30 lines of code is tedious and took me about 45 minutes. making my SD card compatible was even more difficult than inputting AR codes.

Other: people without patience and determination will have difficulty getting this to work, but the payout in the end is more than worth both the time and money that's put in.

Pros: quality is excellent, retail packaging, best value for money

Pros: Cheap! Easier than building your own.

Cons: Seemingly high quality, but poor quality control. Very limited usefulness. Not an official WiiKey product (though it should be!).

Other: If you were thinking of building your own, DON'T. Ordering this is easier and cheaper than ordering parts, and it comes pre-built. One of my two units did not work, but if you planned on building one anyway, at least it has the shell, SD slot, and PCB already made for you (just fix it). I'm glad that I ordered two or I would have continued troubleshooting as if it were a problem with SD card compatibility or formatting (it wasn't). I hope this saves someone else the trouble: One adapter would give me an "Error" at the bottom of the screen in the WiiKey Config Disc's "DVD DUMPER" utility, while the other would say "failed" in the middle of the screen. One of those messages related to SD card formatting. Not knowing which was good and which was bad, I used SDload instead and loaded another SD card disc dumping utility on the SD card that I downloaded ("DVD-SD Backup Utility v0.1g" from tehskeen.com). It formats your card itself and dumps faster than others. Sure enough, SDload showed nothing with one adapter (actually, the prompt told me to insert the card into slot A!) and worked fine with the other. I hope this saves someone the troubleshooting I had to go through. If I hadn't bought two, I would still be suspecting ym SD cards and the formatting of those cards.

Pros: Make Wii backups in minutes! LG Drive ~ 20 $ SD Adapter 6$ Can use any SD card (no sdhc)

Cons: Can't use various SD cards in dumping process.

Other: Great and recommended buy (only if is a wiikey owner)
