    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: nice to see ... is not it too big or too small that's okay ... the handle and good and the sheet of metal to scrape gets the job done though and better with the blade of a knife ... Firesteel and the cord between the metal plate and the right length ...

    Cons: in my Firesteel after many uses and is separated from the magnesium rod plastic handle ... but it took was a little hot glue ...

    Other: I am not an expert trying to light a fire with only wood but I could not fault the Firesteel ... tissue paper burn on the first or second shot ... with the blade of a knife the sparks are doubled ... wrapping the cable to the handle and then wedging the edge of the handle is really small you always have with you in your backpack ...
