Cons: -Shoe string lanyard. Replaced it with 550 cord.
-Mediocre bottle opener, couldn't get a good bite on the cap.

Other: Hmm...it's a ferro rod with a striker, and it's under $5. Good Buy!

Pros: - It is a very usefull gadget - Very well constructed, very solid. - Easier to use than others, wich are smaller. It is big enaught for using it easily.

Cons: - No cons realy - Some people thing that the rope is too short and they open it. I say it is long enaught

Pros: It's cheap, multifunctional and big enough to produce suitable sparks. Sawtooth also helps in that.

Cons: Build quality. After few strikes metal rod fell out from plastic holder. I put it back so firesparkle continues working.

Pros: Works well if you know how to use a flint strike, built pretty well stood up to a stress test i put it thru. It has a strong flint stick and the striker works well if used at the correct angle

Cons: The string is kinda short (easily fixed with some old shoelace)

Other: sometimes things like this save lives, if you need some fire, this is the way to go, sturdy, reliable, and easy to use, good, useful tool for any newcomer or expert survivalist a must buy for anyone venturing into the deep bush this new year

Pros: This is an inexpensive, but quality feeling fire stick. The best part is that this thing is big + long so it's very easy to create TONS of sparks. Even my mom could do it, honestly, she thought it was really cool. The stick measures 2.75" long x 0.25" in diamater, which is long and thick, making this a good value.

Cons: There really aren't any cons, this is a quality product for very cheap. The biggest con is that the string feels like cheap shoe string, but it could easily be replaced or removed but it does its job.

Other: If you're looking for a fire stick, here it is, order 3!

Pros: Nice flint. I suppose it's cheap magnesium one, but it makes nice sparka and is quite thick.
Opener is good.
Rangefinder (ruler) is precise.

Cons: Flint doesnt hold in handle well. After about four to eight good strikes it came off and you must put it back.
This could be fixed, but for the price...

Other: It's common spark flint, good enough for that price, but if I count loose flint handle, the price is not so good.
If you like it, try it. If you not, try another one. On DX is quite a selection.

Pros: It really works, makes a big spark, and quickly caught fire in cotton and steel sponge.

Cons: After using a few times, the piece of plastic to hold his hand, dropped from the stone, but I could easily put in place.

I've managed to make fire after it´s got wet!

Cons: Sometimes, the main rod loose from the base, flying away! If you have not done overnight and the fire still, you're screwed.

Pros: Decent firesteel, the rod is ok even though it's not really glued well to the platic handle, mine got out of it in a few strokes of the firesteel.

Cons: Not well attached to the handle. The striker is not quite sharp enough to produce big particles of incandescent magnesium. I would rather use it with a sharp knife for better efficience.
The bottle opener comes in handy but it is WAY too thin to be comfortable opening bottle with this. It hurt pretty badly when i tried to open one

Other: Why not, good product overall.

Pros: The rod is firmly attached to the handle even after many uses
With sufficient pressure, it can release a good amount of sparks that can light up petrol, alcohol and dry foliage, perfect if you want to start a fire
For me the string is long enough to be used as it is

Cons: The surface is painted, meaning you wil have to scratch it a bit to reveal the actual rod underneath. Not a big problem though.

Other: Very good and cheap product. If you like the outdoors, you will surely like this product as well.
