    Pros: Feels solid
    Works as described

    Cons: As stated in the forums: it is not a good idea to mount a compass on a chunk of metal. My compass seems to give a good general direction however it does stick and I would not trust it with my life in the middle of the woods. The compass makes it so you can only scrape about a millimeter of the magnesium block on one side before you start scraping the compass. So all and all the compass is a little ridiculous.

    Other: Works as described and will save you a couple bucks off a name brand survival block.
