Wireless Door Bell

Pros: The company that manufactured the doorbell on my house said most of their doorbells can be repaired. For around $100! Enter Deal Extreme! Works great. Plenty loud enough to be heard in all the main rooms of the house. No wires to install. Your choice of several chimes including a normal door bell sound. Range seems fine. Build quality excellent. Confidence inspiring package literature. LEDs light up when the bell goes off so it could be useful for the hearing impaired or when on headphones or while using power tools (the thing is so loud that it would be hard to miss in normal use).

Cons: Doesn't look waterproof. The blue color may not go with your decor. The sender uses a battery I've never seen before, luckily its included, the literature says it will last a year (or was it two?) at twenty rings per day. We'll see. The ringer is so loud that it distorts slightly and theres no way to turn it down, maybe when the batteries get lower it will be quieter.

Other: Works great! Cheap no fuss doorbell or doorbell replacement!

Cons: The noise the bell makes is a little loud Anything other than the "ding dong" noise gets very annoying in a short time

Other: If you need a new doorbell, get one of these. Very easy to fit and use

Pros: I am leasing an apartment with me and my friends, and there is no door bell. Installing a real, wired door bell would be a great hassle, and a waste since we dont own the place. The sound is slightly harsh, but it seems almost necessary to be heard. Installation is a snap.

Cons: Seems to be built alright, but still slightly flimsy. I will be surprised if it lasts over a year of daily use.

Other: For 7 bucks, its worth a try.

Pros: Inexpensive, wireless works great (through walls/metal/etc), super loud ring

Cons: The music rings are freakin' annoying, so I stick with the regular one. One part takes simple AAA batteries, but the other takes a weird 12v short battery, which I'm assuming will be expensive to replace.

Other: Buy it.

Pros: good wireless range makes a loud clear sound cheap price for a wireles doorbell

Cons: the small batteries is a bit hard to find and replace

Pros: Range, I tested the doorbell from my backyard to see the range and unit works fine from a distance of about 140-160 feet. The build quality is exceptional, the led lights also gives a visual clue which is nice when playing loud music

Cons: Mounting screws are not included, but it is no big deal.

Other: Great price and nice features and styling.

Cons: very loud , no volume control, tones are limited and a bit dated

When you click the button very fast the chime won't ring.

Other: Simply get it when you need a (wireless) door chime (and you don't need it the next day).

Pros: Very good price, it costs 4 times more in the store at my town.
Easy installation. Just remove the foil from the adhesivestrip and paste it at your door, hang the receiver on a nail or screw somewhere in yout house.
It has a lot of different melodies.
The receiver has also LED's that indicate when someone's ringing your doorbell.
It comes with a batterie for the doorbell. The receiver works on 2AAA batteries

Cons: The quality of some of the melodies isn't that good but I rather considder it as a pro because it is very useful to annoy your brothers ;-)

Other: Very useful if you need a doorbell and don't want to spend different hours on installing a wired doorbell.

Pros: * Pretty cheap
* Good build quality
* Pretty loud, I can hear it through very loud music in any room of my apt.
* Good selection of ringtones, should find something to please any taste (I went with generic "ding-dong")
* Multiple mount options for the bell button: screws or sticky strip (I used the strip, so I don't have to make holes on the wall)
* Comes with a battery for the bell button
* Has flashing LEDs (if you're into that kind of thing)

Cons: * Could be cheaper
* Doesn't come with AAA batteries for the chime
* Doesn't come with mounting screws
* No option to turn off the LEDs
* The chime doesn't come with teh same kind of sticker as the button, I think it would be a good option to have.

Other: It's a pretty good deal all and all.
