Wireless Multimedia Infrared IR Remote Controller with USB Receiver for PC (1*CR2025)

Pros: it works from over 5metres away, i would have tried further but my room isnt much bigger, its useful for using if you have your computer plugged into the tv or external monitor and want to do anything ,i use my to turn the volume up and down and skip songs via windows media player

Cons: its quite small, and its hard to remember what some buttons do but im sure over time using it il remember, when moving the cursor its quite slow, but otherwise this is ok

Other: the dongle is quite small which is good, it blinks when you press a button which is good to let you know it actually works, i dont have any problems with it, only problem is i might lose it in the couch

Pros: From my own point of view the pros are: + You can control not only media players but also can be used as wireless mouse. + You can turn off the pc, use as wireless presenter, etc + It uses a standard battery. + It comes with a cable but if your are not far, you don't need it.

Cons: From my own point of view the cons are: - None, really (till now, we will see)

Pros: This is a really good remote control, do all i was expecting. It have a great build quality. Works like a mouse, not just like a remote control. So you can control anything in your pc. I don't try in big distances, but it works perfectly in 5 meters, and 45° angle. i love it! É um ótimo controle remoto, faz tudo que eu estava esperando. Tem um matérial de ótima qualidade. Funciona como um mouse e como um controle remoto. Então você pode controlar tudo no seu pc. Eu não tentei em grandes distancias, mas ele funciona perfeitamente em 5 metros, com um ângulo de 45°.

Cons: I don't see any cons that gonna make you don't buy it. The only thing i could observe that the "L" in remote control is disappearing. Eu não vi nenhum contra que vá fazer você não comprar. A univa coisa que pude observar foi que o "L" está desaparecendo.

Pros: Plug&Play under Ubuntu 10.04 (two different laptops tested)!
Mouse's Left & Right Click, Pointer, and Scrollwheel controlled OK, Volume Up/Dn, Mute, and even Machine Shut Down (red button)!
My oldest system, Win2K SP4 also worked flawlessly. No drivers downloaded (detected a "USB compound device / HID Device").
Still have to do what some keys do.

Pros: Realy Plug and Play device, also work's on Ubuntu. Good build quality. All buttons are soft and easy to push. Package contains usb extension cable that makes posibility to place receiver anywhere.

Cons: Red led doesn't work properly,- it blinks not only when you press a button. When PC is in off state it blink's too.
Battery cover can be better, because it hard to open and close if you need to replace a battery.

Other: Good build quality, one of the best remote controllers that provided by DX

Pros: Works very fine. Easy connectivity to a pc with windows 7 OS (plug and play). Works with windows media player and VLplayer (still haven't tested any other). Good price/quality relation. Little USB dongle.

Cons: Nothing until now.

Other: If you're looking for a simple remote controller for your pc's multimedia players, this is a very good choice. It has all the options you need to manage your multimedia reproductions without moving of your sofa!
