X6 2.0" LCD 3.0MP CMOS Wide Angle Car DVR Camcorder w/ Rearview Camera / TF / AV-Out - Black

Pros: Main camera unit is small, handy, lightweight. Easy to fix on front glass, or elsewhere. Accept 32GB TF card (ADATA used and tested). 2nd camera has almost 5m long cable, so you can use it anywhere you want to. All functions are working as promised. The picture is OK, in the dark or in garage as well.

Cons: Definitely not a 140° wide lens camera. Hardly attacks 90° (in the centre of the screen), corners are around 120°-130°. But it's still better than average Smartphone camera. Sound is noisy and you can hear the unit working on the records. Probably data transfer to TF card makes an electronic (ticking) noise. Battery lasts for 30 minutes so far, but it’s not fully formatted yet. I do expect some improvement in the battery lifetime in next few days of use. IR LED's are weak, you can see them lightning, but it has no effect on the picture. Nightmode not fully tested yet. Left side of the picture is nice and sharp with rich colours. Right side is blur, seems to me like wrong focus settings. I will investigate deeper.

Other: I will try to upload some video and pictures from real life so as test patterns taken by the camera.

Pros: - Good system for reasonable money. Firs it was real nightmare to figure out how to change Chinese GUI to English. Image is good in all light conditions (night, sunny day, fog, counter light, bakc light) i.e. AGC is working excellently. - Camera is not freezing. - Auto-recording function when there is a power on USB input works great - As well as the Auto shutdown when power gets off

Cons: - I am disapointed with rear camera. When I connect it to the main DVR screen gets black and it stops responding and it is not recording anymore. Only reset helps so probably the rear cam is broken. - After reset it sets up Chinese GUI. - Video compression is poor (2 minutes of video at 720p has around 100 MB).

Pros: Once the menu is changed to English (requires a bit of trial and error to do), the camera is easy to use. Car starts, camera starts. Car turns off, camera turns off after a few seconds to a minute (adjustable). Video is clear. Front and back video files are separate!

Cons: The suction cup mount I received was different to the one pictured online. The video's audio has some feedback which is quite distracting. Suggest don't even bother recording audio or if you do, expect to hear some strange feedback. Out of the 3 I ordered, one of the rear view cameras had strange marks on the lens, but this didn't affect the picture as far as I could tell.

Other: Fantastic for the price as you get both a front and back camera, plus it records the files for them separately, which I think is awesome!

Pros: Small, compact. Good resolution on its LCD. The accuracy of image is very good. I can see the plate/license plate even at night in a reasonable distance (2~5m) Impressive quality of sound for this kind of device.

Cons: No cons

Other: I did a good acquisition. This equipment mets my necessity to document every mile during my commutes. It captures very accurately details of other vehicles and landscapes as I needed. Manufacturer should pay more attention to document better this device. It worth so much and cost less! :)
