XBox 360 Zoom Kinect Sensor Range Reduction Adapter - Black

Pros: It promises to reduce the range for using kinect so for the small rooms we have nowadays is just perfect price is way way cheapper than the ones we have here ($70) for the price the build quality really surprised me! even the package is beutiful!

Cons: no one so far but i really havent tested it since i bought as a gift for a friend!

Other: Im gonna give it as a gift for a friend this week, hope it works as good as it looks and its price! But definetly worth buying as i said i just save 50 bucks buying from DX instead of local shops!

Pros: - less room needed. - easy to install. - lowish cost. - sleek looking, not to bulky.

Cons: - you have to be closer to it after you install it, the range is diminished.

Other: If you cant afford a house with a huge room then it maybe worth it to buy this. I have small room and I feel its work it.

Pros: Alow to play kinect games in very small rooms, fits well on kinect, same color, don't look ugly.

Cons: If you move to a bigger room, it's not work well. Of course it was made to play near sensor, there's no motive to use one of these for play far away from sensor.

Other: If you want to play kinect games in your tiny bedroom ou small apartment room, you will need one of these. Worth the dollar :D.

Pros: Good for reducing the range of the Kinect. I don't use the Kinect for gaming but use it for computer vision tracking projects. With this adapter on, the tracking algorithms still work decently (see Other Thoughts below) Quality is great. It also allows the Kinect LED to pass through so you know what's up with the Kinect. Finishing of adapter matches that of the black Kinect. if you're into aesthetics.

Cons: The lenses are recessed and spring-mounted. If you're not careful when attaching the adapter to your Kinect, you just might scratch the plastic lens housing of your Kinect. So be gentle, and avoid any snapping action.

Other: Good if you're gaming in a small room. A necessity if you're into CV tracking and have a confined space, although the sensor capabilities will be affected moderately.

Pros: Works. Really! it works. Rather cheap. Local versions of it sells for 3 times the price. Does not hinder the rotation mecanism, but do accept "closer" detection.

Cons: requires a working kinect and console. won't make you better at games.

Other: if your living room isn't sized like a baseball stadium, and is outfitter with a kinect, maybe this is for you.

Pros: This is a nice little additon to my Kinect. In a smaller, confined space it works pretty well. In saying that it works best mounted on top of the TV, giving a clearer, better viewing angle. No sensitivity was lost and no delay in reaction time was encountered. It works well from about a metre to a metre and a half. Probably at optimum at a metre and a half, anything beyond that improves its performance, works well at two metres, you probably wouldn't need the zoom beyond that.

Cons: still needs a bit of space to operate, if you think you can stand right next to the TV/Kinect and play, think again. Working distance about 1 to 1.5M. The more distance between the TV/Kinect the better. Still squeezes the area down to a resonable size.

Other: great product, I bought one for me and one for my friend. She is as pleased as I am !
