Pros: -Very sturdy construction -Back lite display -Great for general use for around the house -reading looks pretty accurate

Cons: -Had a dandruff flake behind the screen. quite annoying.
-Wish there were more features like ac current readings, but those are usually expensive
- Wish DX has more variety of Mastech or other brands of multimeters

Pros: very well built back light hold button clear display leads well made and long enough

Other: Nice meter for the money, if you know how to use one, go ahead and buy this one.

Pros: Nice multimeter with ac and dc volts resistance and DC current. Features a secondary case for drop protection. Has data hold and a backlight.

Leads are very nice 22awg

Would be nice if DealExtreme did carry more Mastech multimeters this one is not bad for a basic one.

Pros: Fantastic value multimeter from well-known brand. Good solid build quality, the selector dial turns with a precision and satisfying 'click' not normally found at this price point. Good quality leads supplied and a sturdy plastic cover with integral stand.

Cons: At this price, you must be joking...

Other: Excellent value for money. As another reviewer said, c'mon DX let's be having some of Mastech's sexy higher spec multimters...

Pros: Great price for a multimeter of this caliber. Similar models sell for $35.00 at my local R@dioshak. It even has a back lit screen!

Cons: The metal probes are super sharp. Someone could poke an eye out! It dosen't help that the covers for the probes are flimsy and don't latch on too well.

Other: Its a great item to have if you work with electronics or want to know the voltage of your batteries.

Pros: I use the same multimeter (only yellow) at school and at work. So I didn't have any problems using it. I didn't bother with the directions but I assume they're terrible. Seems to give me values in the range I'd expect (e.g. 3V batteries read 2.9-3.6V depending on charge level). Leads are nice and pointy, I guess that's a plus...

Cons: None I can think of. I don't know what the battery life is like yet because I haven't used it enough.

Other: If you want a multimeter I'd buy this one from DX. It's at a good price and I'd say you can trust it.

Pros: - Excellent price, you get much more than you paid for. -Well built multimeter with a strong PVC protective casing, with inbuilt support stand. -Casing can be removed. -From what I have seen it is accurate.

-The leads have precise pointy tips on the end (an essential feature for fine circuity work).

-Includes battery!

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other: It's worth the money and is an essential tool for anyone working with electronics.

Pros: -Not to small and not to big.
-Large digits with backlight when needed.
-Sharp probes.
-Beep function.
-The stand.
-The low price.

Cons: The plugs make no good contact into the device. I had to bend them a little and now they fit perfect.

Other: A good and handy device.

Pros: - Very well built.
- Very cheap, similar multimeters cost 2 or 3 times more at stores where I live.
- Not as big as other multimeters so you can carry it very easily.
- Useful "data hold" button.
- You can read the display in dark enviroments because it has backlight.
- Measurements seem to be accurate. I have compared them with those given by another multimeter and values are the same. I have also used it with some spare components (resistors, batteries, a power supply, etc).
- Continuity test buzzer.

Cons: - Manual only in Chinese. It's not a problem if you know how to use it (and what safety measures you have to take).

Other: It's a good multimeter for amateur use. Buy it.

Pros: Very good built thing, i like it soo much. Fits in my hand and has a stand on the backside. Has a hold button and backlight. It is out-of-the box, battery is included, so it is totally ready for use. Has a great weight i mean you "feel" the device not just see it in a good way of course.

Cons: None so far for me. Maybe some pros are missing the temperature mesurement functions or something, but not me :)

Other: I would recommend this to anybody who needs these kind of things as much as i need.
