Pros: This is one of the best digital amps I have seen. I've got it wired up on my desk right now, attached to my two big Philips speakers (8Ohm). Power comes from a 12v battery. On the input I have put my iphone, which gives a relatively low output signal. However, the amplifier will amplify this to a very high level! The low, mid and high frequencies are displayed very balanced and clear. The amplifier chip comes from Yamaha. Build quality is perfect, and the pinout is clearly shown on the board. The volume control works fine and doesn't make weird sounds when being turned.
Cons: For beginners it might be hard to solder the input wires onto the breadboard.
Other: Buy this little amp, and build it into another speaker you already have. It will beat any iPod dock, especially with this ridiculously low price.

Pros: This is a great small digital amp. I bought it for use with a PC-like system - 12V power source. I have it hooked up to 25W (RMS) or 130W (max) 4 Ohm car speakers. For playing MP3's this systems works perfectly. Under full power, the speakers give out a crisp sound without distortion. I do not notice any distortion over full range, the sound comes out very clear and balanced at all levels. In room use, sound level goes to the point where two people cannot hear themselves. The volume control works as it should (no clipping, scratching sound).
Cons: For my system, at 12V and 4Ohm speakers the chip gets quite hot, but I solved problem with a heat sink (SKU.15361), fits perfectly on the little chip. I was reading some comments about working better at 15V power source, but for now I do not see any problems with 12V input - I will try the 15V later on. Soldering might be a little difficult for a beginner, the 3 input holes for audio (L_in, GND, R_in) by the volume control have very small holes close together. Speaker and power connections have large well spaced holes.
Other: Great product, especially the price is really attractive. To use it with a PC-like system for MP3 or video playback, this is a great combo.

Pros: The amplifier is cheap.
It works great, and plays all right.
Super small amplifier
Some what easy to connect if you are handy soldering iron.
Drives my Yamaha NE555 speakers without a sweat (6ohm).
No noticeable noise/distortion at reasonable audio levels.
Cons: Might have a little to much of high tones.
But not a big con/problem, this might also vary a little from board to board.
Other: Happy with my bargain.
4/5 stars for this item.
The last star is missing as the item was "DOA" and needed some repair, after that, NO complaints at all.
Going to buy a second one for a DIY project.

Pros: Class D , i only need a small heatsink SKU 35816 from DX Loud, clear and defined sound. Being a great chip from Yamaha i must say thumbs up to DX for bringing in this board, i have never been happier listening to music because of the clarity of this thing even at full power.
Cons: Pins might be a little too close for comfort but this is no go for electronics starters, only people who have SMD will find it comfortable to solder.
Other: Buy this to replace a big fat old tech Class AB amplifier and you will not be dissapointed .
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very cheap, small, hassle-free usage
Cons: Requires reasonable soldering and electronics experience
Other: Excellent for making active speakers from passive ones or a compact amplifier for mp3 listening.

Pros: So small and powerfull digiamp ( about 1MHz ) with clear and powerfull voice ! Look out YDA148 with google . It is really 2 x 30W / 4 ohm. Best sound with Li-Ion / Li-Po-accubattery 11,1 V - 15V max. / 8 ohm. / 15 W .
Cons: Input holes so tiny , but U can do it :) Handle with care - so sensitive to static electric - but do not worry - it works !
Other: If U need fine little digital amplifier - buy it ! Very clear and powerfull sound - really ! But speakers SPL must be then over 90 dB / 1m / 1W to public audio use .

Pros: It's quite small. Very nice built quality, looks good. Does the job very well, good sound. It will really deliver 2 x 10 HiFi Watts on 8 Ohm speakers. Only about 30 mA current in silence. Input is sensitive enough, no "gain tweak" needed. It's good, I like it.
Cons: - the YDA148 can get a little hot sometimes. A little heatsink would be a good idea. But I never had problems, yet. - Really tiny input contacts. Can be difficult to solder for the unexperienced. - Output coils (the black round things with "220" on it) could have been larger, these are very small.
Other: Good stuff! You won't be sorry.

Pros: -really powerful -low distortion, even at high power -little clipping -easy to set up -runs on 12v -2 channels -absolutely miniscule. about 1/2 the size I expected.
Cons: -bass isnt that great -mine came with r-l channels reversed (right input goes to left speaker) -may be hard for someone without soldering ability to attach -needs 15V to run at full power (12V is more common)
Other: This is a GREAT buy. I'm ordering two more as soon as I get a debit card set up. Really powerful, and a fraction of the price you'd find in stores. Even on amazon, a 20W amp costs twice this, and doesn't sound as good.

Pros: has AMAZING bottom end, and is stable at 4O (if you attach a small RAM heat sink), thus in some cases, is better than a subwoofer plate amp (it has a response down to 10hz, and not much of a drop off untill 2hz) very powerful (it really is 15w per channel RMS) and can be made into a mono block (30 watts RMS)
Cons: none that i can think of. and i work in a hi-fi shop selling $2000 amps XD. about the only thing this is lacking, is a little in the vocal section, but who can complain at the price :D
Other: amazing amp, if you are looking at a cheap amp for a car subwoofer, or for a portable amp, or even for a Hi-Fi amp. this can drive my 15" Fusion powerplant subwoofer with no problems down to almost 1hz, with enough bass to fill a 8x5m room (with a 4m roof) and still be shaking the floor in the next room!!!!

Pros: Handy no-expensive-parts amplifier board. Works. Quite well marked connectors on silkscreen. Datasheet for the chip is available and quite readable. Good commentary available here and on certain hobbyist websites. I haven't managed to make it heat up in any noticeable fashion. Easy soldering. Practically noiseless and popless (excluding noise from source and interference).
Cons: Essentially no room for modification. Could use board schematics and outline drawings. Somewhat bulky bulk cap glued sidewise, but not very tightly. Power and speaker terminals aren't on a grid with eachother, so you can't use a steady 200mil raster 6-pin connector/terminal.
Other: Excellent option if you're looking for a board in this range.
