What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: This is the actual Nikon remote. Smaller than I thought, the picture s make it seem larger. Local camera shop wanted more for the same item.
Cons: Tiny, (easy to misplace) [the only "con" I can think of]
Other: Own a Nikon camera? Then buy it!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - It seems to be an original remote
- This is quite small, so it could be stored in the camera case (in some cases, certanly)
- The price of the remote wins among some others
- Works fine in the street
Cons: - It has shorter operational radius in the streets,
Other: Buy it!
This thing is compatible with many other cameras. Better check google before buy
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Small and light, there's no reason not to carry it if you are already carrying your SLR. - Works
Cons: - It's not the real thing
- No carrying case
Other: If you have a Nikon DSLR, you just need a remote in your bag. Considering the price difference and the very basic functionality of both, you can just as well take this 3rd party remote as the real thing.

Pros: The remote controller is really cheap compared to the ones you buy in the normal stores. The performance of the RC is comparable!
Because it is so small, you can stick it easily in your camera bag so you won't forget to bring it when you're on a trip!
Cons: The only con that I could find is that the build quality looks a little bit fragile. But on the other hand,i didn't have any problems with it.
Other: If you want to buy a RC, this one suits perfectly!

Pros: -It works with my Nikon D40 digital SLR camera.
-Extremely cheap, I think these go for alot more at local stores.
-Small, can easily fit in your palm and pocket.
-Very easy to use, just a simple button. No way that can go wrong.
Cons: -None, I don't like using button cells but they are small so it's fine.
-I don't think it's genuine, but that doesn't really matter too much.
Other: Buy it. Make sure your camera model is supported though. Nikon D40's work for sure though.

Pros: Works great with my Nikon D70S. Works from all differend angles when the battery is fresh. Reacts quickly. Works from several meters away (tried it form about 10m and that worked fine, both with a fresh battery and with a used one)
Cons: Well, when the battery gets duller you really have to aim at the sensor for it to work. Not alla that easy to find a suitable battery if you want it right away, but you can find the right one here att DX, CR2025 if you're curious, sku.7013 and sku.831.
Very light I almost lost mine twice when I didn't notice that it fell out when i pulled up the usb-cable from the same compartment in the bag. Lucky for me both times it happened at home...
Other: Good price, a little flimsy and not the most common battery (well it is rather common for this type of appliance, but still hard to find in most stores here in Sweden)
Buy it if you sometimes need a remote without a cord, but if you can use one with a cord (ie only use it for stability, not distance) I'd go for that one since it doesn't need batteries.

Pros: it's cheap and it works fine. it works with my nikon d50. easy to operate - it has just one button.
Cons: no any carrying case, just plastic transparent film and package box. the build quality is 4/5 because of a protective film which covers inner button wasn't glued properly and had air bulbs under it.
Other: if you need a remote control for nikon DSLR buy it. it works just as the original one.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Works in "bulb" mode. I did not buy this to take pictures of myself (I use the timer function for that, since I do not trust the focus to work when I'm in front) but I wanted to take pictures in bulb mode. I thought I'd have to hold the remote for the whole time, but in the D80 one command opens the shutter and the other one closes. If you're into lightning or other long exposures, it's perfect.
Cons: None.
Other: Very satisfied.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very cheap remote control. 100% working for my D80. Very quick and responsive. Working distance is sufficient. The build quality is excellent. Very small to fit everywhere. The only difference to the original one is the price. Its a shame that they are selling it for 30€ if you can here order the same thing for "nothing".
Cons: The device itself has none.
Carrying case should be included. But I have not got one. Would be useful.
Other: Nothing can bid this remote control for that price.
