YongNuo RS-802/C3 Remote Shutter Switch for Canon 1D/1DS/EOS5D/50D/40D/30D/20D/10D

Pros: On my Canon 1D Mark II N works perfectly. Looks like the original. The construction is excellent, the same operation (double action buttons and lock long exposures).
The connector fits perfectly in the entrance of the machine, the cable is not long, but more than enough.

Cons: None. It 'really perfect.

Other: Canon, like all other brands, is paying too for products that actually have a cost much lower, like this one.
The accessories are not original cost much less and work just as well as the original, so save and buy yourself a lens :)

Pros: Build quality is surprisingly good. Cord is with sufficient length. Button and lock are working fine. Price is astonishingly low for quality. Excellent in every aspect!

Cons: None at all!

Other: If you need remote shutter switch for your Canon 1D/1DS/EOS5D/50D/40D/30D/20D/10D - buy this without hesitation! If I need another one - I'll order this shutter again!

Other: Great product, great price. Can't find one cheaper anywhere else. Much cheaper than paying over $100 for Canon brand.

Pros: Authentic YongNuo remote. I bought in the past products by this brand via ebay, and was very happy to see on DX for much cheaper.
Solid build and top quality.
Does what it supposed to do.
I use with Canon 50D - controls the AF (half press), picture taking (full press) and continuous shooting (lock remote to continue taking pictures (I use for stat trails photos).
Very pleased by this product for this very low price. Sells in my country for about 50$ (!!!).

Pros: box has better quality than original with a realy PRO feeling, cable is soft and screams quality from connector to the unit, and the accual unit has quality feelings from the cable to button to lock to plastic
has even an o-ring for perfect fit and weather

Cons: better than original just makes it feel wrong to have bought an original for canon, beats my nikon as well
if the actual unit could be water resistant wuld be the only "negative" but it´s the only thing

Pros: An incredibly cheap remote shutter for most higher-end Canon models. Functions perfectly: a quick press allows a quick shot, a half-press for focus, and a long-press for long-exposure shots (if you've got Bulb mode enabled).
It also can be locked into place to enable high-speed shots, or a very, very long-exposure shot.

Cons: The connector doesn't stay firmly secured into the camera body, and can be pulled out with very little force.

Other: Why pay more than you need to when this will do the job?

Pros: As all Yongnuo product its surprises buy the quality. Soft silicone cable. Excellent pressure feeling to focus and shut the picture. Low weight, great package. The connector fits perfect in the camera

Other: Do not spent 10X more in the canon version, this is as good as the Canon. I could say with no doubts, Canon may buy from yongnuo and resale with their name, its the same quality

Pros: Well packed, it is a real product with a box and manual and everything!
Not that you need the manual though: it just works like expected. It doesn't use your flashshoe (obvious maybe, but there are shutters which do), the plug fits just in one way and the button is solid and firm. Just a good shutter for my Canon 40D.

Cons: When inserting the plug, the cable goes to the front of the camera. I'd rather see this to go backwards.
Another small thing is the length of the cable. It could have been a bit longer for my use (nature shots).

Other: It's cheap, it's a real product, it works like a charm like you would expect to. So simply put: buy it!

Pros: That is good remote switch cable with lock (for bulb exposures). Build quality is very good, package is made from thick carton. Can be used for focus (AF ON), shot, and bulb exposure shot. The cable has good flexibility, and looks strong. Switch fits perfectly in hand, it is made of good plastic.

Cons: Not any.

Other: That is very good item, and it's really cheap! If you need remote switch for canon - buy this.
