YongNuo Vertical Grip External Battery Pack for Canon 450D

Pros: Great Price- Half if not more then the cost of the Official Canon grip.
Nice solid construction.
Fits perfectly onto the camera and in my hand.

Other: If you have the Canon Digital EOS 450D/Rebel Xsi and are looking at getting a battery grip this is the route to go. The Official Canon grip goes for anywhere from approx. $140-$180, this grip is easily at least half the price and does the exact same thing.

Pros: Fits perfect on my Canon eos 500d. Just like original only without Canon logo printed on. You can't tell the diference. Everything works picture perferct. All the buttons work and shutter button works like a charm and all that for half a price that you would get in a store. Combined with LP-E5 batteries from DX you can't go wrong.

Cons: Can't think of any what so ever.

Other: One of the best thins that I got from DX worth every cent.

Pros: This is a great addition to a Canon 450D for anyone with big hands (like me!).
It makes the camera much easier to hold and control when you have a heavy zoom lens attached.
It also gives you a second set of controls for when you shoot in portrait mode, and allows you to shoot with 2 batteries in the camera for extended shooting time.
If you just want the improved control without adding too much weight to the camera you can use it with a single battery rather than 2.
The kit comes with an adapter that lets you use standard AA batteries with your 450D - great for travel in remote places where you can always find disposable batteries but may not be able to charge your camera.
The quality of the material is very good, with cleanly molded plastic and a rubberised texture on the parts that you hold.

Cons: None that I can think of.
My grip arrived in a box with a different brand to the one shown in the images above, but the item included was the correct one.
You need to look after the camera's original battery compartment door after you pull it off to attach the grip, but this is not a con for the actual grip.

Other: Get it. If you want a grip for your camera this is the one to get.

Pros: Very good battery grip. There is not much difference between the origional one (execpt it is almost half the price). Grip feels very solid and the rubber feels even better than the grip of the EOS450 itself!

Cons: Had to wait a long time before DX shipped it.

Other: If you look for a battery grip for the EOS 450/1000, stop searching and buy this one!

Pros: - It does fit good in your hands, it gives you a better grip to the camera.
- You can choose for batteries or for two original canon accus.
- My version I recieved came with a remote.
- It is nice build quality.

Cons: - The wheel dail is hard to roll. The wheel grip is insufficient.
- The batterie of the remote was empty.

Other: Overall it is a great product, not too expensive, from good build quality, simple to use and it is a nice addition to you camera.

Pros: - looks and feels like the Canon branded model
- the price can't be beat
- extra battery power is always a good thing to have
- now comes with a wireless remote

Cons: - no cons with this equipment yet

Other: If you need a grip, buy this one! Sure it takes a week or so to get to you, but the wait will be well worth it!

Pros: First I'd like to underline the real quality of this product, seems like original grip. Note that remote control is present in this kit! It's a great surprise! Thanks a lot for it!
Adapter for AA batteries already included.
