YP-3005 Cree XM-L T6 450lm 3-Mode White Zooming Headlamp - Black (4 x AA)

Pros: Very bright headlight. Easy to use. Do not look in the light. It willl give you a headdeck. There are three ways to make light: low high and alarm mode. Simple but usefull. I dont know how muchh time it will take to empty the batterys but the llight is great. Four batterys AA. Quite enough power. Vertical adjustment light is ok. Zooming is good but sometimes to easy.

Cons: I find the light head quite heavy. It feel like quality but it is heavy. The switch is to easy. It wil go of in you back pack. I think I will make a switch backup myself. I think the electric wire is not that impressive but parhaps it will will suite. Light is little bit blue, not much. Belt is the only thing that is not that quality. But it is ok. It is not that waterproof. It will stand a shower but not all day. Much rain: use a sack.

Other: Buy it. It is good. For the money it is a lot off light for that price. It must be great for camping, hiking, climbing etc

Pros: I have seen a bit brightre headlights. But this one i like due it have a zoom. Specialy its good when you fishing or with mates sitting somewhere in the dark. Very bright light without zoom will blind your friends and scare away fish. Yes it have a lower light option but its not enought allways.

Cons: The battery connections inside battery box a bit vierd and with bad quality but it works. I am not sure for how long that zoom works due i dont know how its build up from inside. At the moment it works perfect.

Other: I would reccomend it to everyone. With that price it is a good headlamp to buy

Pros: Good looking head lamp, reasonably bright. Excellent for "hands-free" work. Click-stop angles help focus light at job in hand.

Cons: Not as bright as some of the other brands I've bought from DX.com. A little heavier than most others, battery boy at back of head does not allow use for instance, reading in your tent while lying down.

Other: Buy it if you're a gadget collector like me; it will make a nice addition to your collection.
